Peacefully Coexisting

lanissacoker

We had some excitement on the farm this week. A few weeks ago I told you about the young chicks that were learning to live outside. For quite some time there has been a boundary between the older chickens and the younger ones. They could, however, see one another through the fencing. A few days ago we removed the fencing. We are happy to report old and young have learned to dwell with each other in a peaceful manner. Very exciting! The young chicks have not started laying eggs yet, but that should be coming in a month or so. Here are a few pictures of the happy chickens!
