Planting, Planting... & More Planting

lanissacoker

This week I planted more vegetable seeds into the garden. I sure hope they sprout! šŸ¤žšŸ™ The seeds I placed directly in the ground a week ago are being really slow...not a single sprout. šŸ˜• Hopefully as the days begin to slowly warm up, that will change. The good news is that several of the seeds that I placed in my seedling trays have sprouted. Of course, they have been in a more controlled environment so that stands to reason.

On a more positive note, the tulips I planted last fall came up nicely. I'm so pleased with them. Remember the small Noble Fir tree that had Christmas ornaments on it? It is now adorned with pretty pink tulips. ā˜ŗšŸŒ·

I also have an update on those volunteer tomato plants I told about before. They are huge! They are about to outgrow the "larger" container where they had been transferred. I've been moving them from inside to back outside for a while now. I'm using the banister as a trellis for them. They really need to go in the ground, but it's still a little bit too early. I still have no idea what kind of tomatoes they will produce. Time will tell. I'll be sure to let you know. Until then, be sure to enjoy the beauty that spring has to offer.
